8:00 a.m. GUIDED ECOLOGICAL KAYAK TOUR OF THE GREAT SALT POND: Offered by Pond and Beyond owner and island naturalist Corrie Heinz. Corrie, has been leading nature tours on land and on water since 1995.

All ages are welcome, but some experience required, space limited, must register with Pond and Beyond. (401-578-2773)

Bring own water, sunscreen, hat. Wear comfortable clothing (synthetic fibers work best) and footwear that can get wet.

We will use a seine net to get a closer look at the creatures that inhabit the shallow sandy waters of the Great Salt Pond. Please meet in the parking lot of Andy's Way. Donations welcome.
